We wish to inform you of the competitions the Club Bahia San Miguel will run during 2010.
2010 Competitions
During this year we will run eight competitions in Almerimar, one at Alboran Golf and one at La Envia Golf. We will also run four competitions for children/Junior members of the Club. In total we will run 15 competitions.

League Competition of Club Bahia San Miguel
Commencing date
The league will commence on 8th February until the 30th November. There will be two categories 0-16.5 and 16.6-33.4 handicaps.
The entries will be divided into groups with a maximum of 10 players per group, and each group will play against each other.
Method of Play
Match play under the rules of R.F.E.G. – consult the Committee of the Competition, (contact Marianne)
Scoring Method
Winner of Match Play 2 points
Drawn Match 1 point
Loser of Match 0 point
Status
On the 5th day of each month we will publish on the Notice board in the pro-shop the results of the classification for the month.
Arranging Matches
The two players will arrange a date and time but cannot play as part of another competition in Almerimar.
Prizes for the League Competition of Bahía San Miguel
The Winner of each group in each category (maximum five players)
30 Green Fees & Trophy and Green Jacket.
Consolation Prize
At the Christmas Dinner there will be a draw between all the players who played all their matches in the Competition. And the winning person will receive a Weekend at Valle del Este for 2 persons (1 night + 1 green fee). The winners of the League Competition will not be included in this draw.
Match Play Entry Fee
The entry price for the League is 25 € and the final entry date is 7th February 2010. The league will be restricted to 60 players. Only members who have paid their annual membership fee and entry fee and the Federation will be able to take part.
We wish to mark the first competition of the year with a small addition to the entry price of 5€ to make a donation for ‘Haiti’ and we hope this will all meet with your approval.
